Takahashi TSB00262 adapter ring CMOS M52F-M54M with 1 mm of backfocus

The Takahashi TSB00262 adapter ring is used to mount accessories with an M54 thread behind the M52 thread typically found on certain Takahashi reducers, field flatteners, and CA-35 camera adapters.

It allows for the connection of CMOS cameras (such as those offered by ZWO) without requiring additional back focus. For example, the 55 mm back focus required to mount a ZWO camera behind a CA-35 camera adapter with an M52 thread is perfectly maintained. This grants you the freedom to modify your imaging train, according to ZWO's recommendations (such as replacing the 21 mm thick ring with a filter wheel or other accessories), without having to worry about the Takahashi spacing.

The mechanical input interface features an M52x0.75 female thread, while the output interface features an M54x0.75 male thread. The backfocus is 1 mm.
