This finder shares the same specifications as the Takahashi 7.5x50 finder scope with a 6-degree field of view (TKA00555). It has a focal length of 210 mm and an aperture of 50 mm, allowing it to resolve objects down to magnitude 11.
The objective is an achromatic doublet designed for optimal visual performance, with a visual Strehl ratio of approximately 70%.
By attaching the Takahashi TOE 2.5 mm eyepiece (TKA00613), magnification increases to approximately 85x; in this configuration, the instrument is powerful enough to allow the observation of diffraction rings on bright stars.
