TS Optics 50.8 mm (2”) 0.5x and 5x focal reducer, TDRED052.

Reduces the telescope’s focal length by 50%.

Recommended for long-focal-length telescopes such as Schmidt-Cassegrains, Maksutov-Cassegrains and long-focal-ratio refractors.

Screws onto the M48x0.75 thread of eyepieces and photographic adapters.

Focal length reduction by a factor of approximately 0.5x (this varies depending on the distance from the sensor or eyepiece).

Maximum effective distance between reducer and sensor approx. 65 mm.

50.8 mm thread (M48x0.75) on both sides.

Clear aperture 45 mm. In its original packaging.
