The Player One Astronomy FHD-OAG Max 2 off-axis guider is the new version designed to deliver better performance than previous iterations, bringing targeted refinements to both aesthetics and functionality.
The focuser body has been redesigned to be narrower, reducing from 53 mm to 46 mm. This ensures greater clearance in more compact imaging trains, preventing mechanical interference between components.
Thanks to the optimization of the product's internal geometry, light leaks are significantly reduced, a crucial improvement for an off-axis guider, where stray light can compromise the guide camera's performance.
The helical focuser now features smoother action: the required rotation force has been reduced, making adjustments easier than ever.

No vignetting design
The FHD-OAG uses an 8×14 mm prism, close to the 16:9 aspect ratio, preventing vignetting on the Xena-M camera.
Since the prism height is only 8 mm, it can be positioned closer to the center of the light path to gather more light.
