The ACUTER SunTracker intelligent and technologically innovative mount is extremely easy to use and offers a safe experience for automatically locating and observing the Sun with your solar telescope.
Simply level the tripod and point the solar telescope anywhere to the left of the Sun: the revolutionary HelioFind™ solar alignment technology will automatically do the rest. With the simple press of a button, the telescope will automatically level itself and, using GPS data, the mount will calculate the Sun’s altitude and azimuth based on the time and location. The telescope will then move to the correct altitude and the mount will rotate clockwise to search for the Sun. Once detected by the solar sensor, the Sun will be centered and silently tracked, remaining in the center of the eyepiece field of view.
The ACUTER SunTracker mount can be used by educational centers, observatories, beginners and experienced users, and is highly recommended for astro-tourism activities. It is ideal for observing the eclipses expected in the coming years. Paired with your solar telescope, it becomes the perfect companion for observing sunspots, eclipses, solar surface details and transits of the inner planets across the Sun.
The Solarquest is lightweight, portable, quiet in operation, with a payload capacity of up to 4 kg, and accepts telescopes equipped with a standard 45 mm Vixen-style dovetail bar.

The ACUTER SunTracker mount is designed exclusively for use with solar telescopes. Do not point any other type of optical instrument at the Sun. Observing the Sun without a safe and professionally certified solar filter may cause immediate and irreversible eye damage (blindness), damage to the instrument and fire hazard.
