Takahashi's 2-inch star diagonal is designed for astronomers who want to maximize the resolution of their instrument. It uses a true 1/10th wave P-V enhanced aluminum coated Pyrex diagonal mirror that is precisely mounted using a beam collimator to guarantee maximum resolution at the eyepiece. It comes standard with a 1.25" eyepiece holder and is threaded for 48mm filters. The 2" O.D. nosepiece can be removed and the diagonal attached directly to an FSQ-106 via an optional adapter ring.
